Operating Resources for Business Owners
SAFE BUSINESS OPERATIONS
The Municipality is following the health metrics established in the “Safe Anchorage: Roadmap to Reopening the Municipality of Anchorage” plan to move between phases.
Working alongside the State, the Municipality worked with local businesses and public health experts to develop safety measures for certain sectors. The Municipality is updating these safety criteria regularly.
We’ve curated resources for assisting differently-abled individuals during this pandemic that businesses may find useful. Not everyone can abide by social distancing and hygiene guidelines in the same way.
NEED PPE OR HELP OPERATING SAFELY?
The Alaska Native Tribal Health Council (ANTHC) shared a physical distancing graphic that can be printed as a sticker for floors to ensure public health and safety.
The Municipality and the CDC have issued guidance for business operations, including cleaning and disinfection, conducting physical distancing, keeping employees safe, and more.
Does your business or nonprofit need Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)?
The Frontline Business Safety Initiative is providing contact-free delivery of PPE. You can make a request online or via (907) 602-5297.
PPE requests can also be made through the Alaska Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Alaska MEP).
