GENERAL INFORMATION

On May 24, 2020, Mayor Berkowitz issued Emergency Order EO-10, “Maintenance,” which extends precautions to preserve the health and safety of our community, while taking the next step to open the economy. This order is the third phase in a phased reopening and continues a process that has prevented a surge of new COVID-19 cases while providing businesses with safety parameters to protect customers and workers. EO-10 is consistent with Centers for Disease Control recommendations and State of Alaska guidelines.

EO-10 takes effect at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 25, 2020, and remains in effect until modified. This order replaces EO-09.
