AEDC’s CEO Jon Bittner and Economic Development Manager Jennifer Adams had the incredible opportunity to meet with Mr. Mitsu Saito, the Regional Director for the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) and learned about the business opportunities for Anchorage. The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) is the official export credit agency of the U.S. government. Its primary mission is to support American jobs and businesses by providing loans, loan guarantees, and export credit insurance to help U.S. companies export their goods and services to international buyers.
Mitsu was in town for the Alaska Sustainable Energy Conference, held May 19th – 20th, in Anchorage to share opportunities for business owners learn about export opportunities and how the EXIM bank provides financial tools to leverage success.
