Five/Thirty: Join the Urban Conflux

From group bike rides and walks to a scavenger hunt throughout downtown, on May 30th, as a community, we will gather together to create pedestrian life throughout Anchorage. The ultimate goal of of FIVE/THIRTY is to encounter the city in new ways and to have an experience different from daily life. If YOU are interested in championing one of these events, please let us know.

The Idea: As an individual, or an organization you will host an experience that anyone can join.
The Framework: The event you suggest should be outside, viewable by people passing by and open to 10-30 people joining.
Some Examples: These are just ideas. Don’t let us stop you from dreaming big.

• A neighborhood walk or bike tour highlighting personal events or events known only by neighborhood residents
• A group bike ride for families with riders dressed in costume
• A group walk through a meditation garden or organizing a walking meditation
• Any event that involves moving between a series of stops
• An event highlighting our diverse communities such as the Hmong, Latino, and Samoan communities (just to name a few).
