Principal Architect for GHD

Michelle Klouda is an Architect and Delivery Manager for GHD‘s USA West/Central region and has a passion for strengthening communities through infrastructure, design, and economic development. Based in Anchorage, she leads multidisciplinary teams delivering complex public, federal, aviation, healthcare, and civic projects throughout Alaska and across the United States. Michelle’s work focuses on creating facilities that support long-term community growth, workforce development, connectivity, and economic opportunity. She has contributed to major infrastructure investments, including aviation facilities, healthcare campuses, municipal projects, and federal modernization programs. Beyond her professional practice, Michelle has served in leadership, volunteer, and board roles that advance Alaska’s design, business, and community development sectors. Her unique combination of local knowledge, project delivery expertise, and commitment to Alaska’s future makes her a strong advocate for responsible growth and regional prosperity.
