Freight Forum 2016

AMATS Freight Advisory Committee presents Freight Forum 2016, Nov. 16 at the BP Energy Center from 12:30-4:30 p.m.

Speakers include Mr. T.F. “Scott” Darling III, Administrator, Federal Motor Carrier Administration; Ms. Sandra Garcia-Aline, Division Administrator, Alaska Division Federal Highway Administration; Mayor Ethan Berkowitz, Steve Ribuffo, Port of Anchorage Director, John Parrott, Airport Manager, Ted Stevens Anchorage International, and individuals from ADOT&PF Deputy Commissioner John Binder, state, and local officials along with shippers and carriers will present on the current freight transportation infrastructure needs, economics of Alaska’s freight, funding requirements, and challenges for the Anchorage region.

Seats are limited. Last year over 100 participants from all sectors attended. Come hear about the Anchorage Freight Mobility Study Plan and the Ocean Dock/ C Street Ramp Reconnaissance Study.
