The Anchorage Economic Development Corporation, Visit Anchorage, The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, and the Anchorage Downtown Partnership have teamed up to form Alliance to Activate Anchorage (AAA). The board-level coalition will coordinate efforts around shared economic and workforce goals in the Anchorage community.

“All the great partner organizations of the AAA are already working together in the many efforts to help our community and economy rebound from the pandemic,” said Bill Popp, AEDC president and CEO. “This alliance will allow us to work together at an even higher level of coordination and partnership to develop and implement effective strategies and initiatives to help Anchorage prosper.”

AEDC and the partner organizations share similar goals and have memberships that represent a large cross section of businesses and economic activities in
Anchorage. Two board representatives from each organization will participate in AAA’s nonbinding, consensus-driven effort to plan and coordinate common action, better leverage resources, support local businesses and actively pursue economic opportunities.
