- Housing plays an important role in the economic health and success of our city, and in the AEDC vision.
- Lack of affordable, available and livable housing has been cited by many local businesses as a challenge to attracting and retaining employees in Anchorage.
- Anchorage has one of the 25 most expensive housing markets in the nation (AEDC Cost of Living Index Report).
The Anchorage Assembly will be discussing changes to Title 21 at their next meeting. Whether you are familiar with Title 21 or have been affected by the difficult housing market in Anchorage, please come to show support for the Live. Work. Play. Housing Area of Focus efforts to address our community’s housing issues.
