AEDC Announces Peter Kageyama as Keynote Speaker for 2025 Economic Forecast Luncheon 

The Anchorage Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is thrilled to announce Peter Kageyama, renowned author and community development expert, as the keynote speaker for the 2025 Economic Forecast Luncheon. The highly anticipated event will take place on January 22, 2025, offering a day of insights, inspiration, and engagement with local business and community leaders. 

Peter Kageyama, author of For the Love of Cities: The Love Affair Between People and Their Places, Love Where You Live: Creating Emotionally Engaging Places, and his latest work, is internationally recognized for his expertise in grassroots engagement and bottom-up community development. Kageyama is also a Senior Fellow with the Alliance for Innovation, a national network dedicated to improving local government practices. 

Known for his ability to inspire and energize communities, Kageyama’s presentation will explore the power of emotional connections between people and their cities, offering valuable insights into how these connections can drive economic growth and community resilience. His work highlights the efforts of local changemakers and community builders who are transforming their cities from the ground up.
