Anchorage Employment Report: January 2025
Year over year, Anchorage’s January estimated jobs increased by 0.7% to 148,500. The three fastest-growing sectors were: Transportation/Warehouse (7.9%, 1,000), Oil and Gas (6.3%, +100), Healthcare (4.7%, +1,000).
Month over month, total Anchorage jobs decreased by an estimated 1.9% (-2,800 jobs), following seasonal trends.
