2025 Anchorage Economic Summit
The 2025 Anchorage Economic Summit will be held on August 6th, 2025, from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Doors open at 10:30 A.M.
AEDC luncheons are the largest sit-down business events in Alaska, bringing together hundreds of leaders from across industries to connect, learn, and shape the state’s economic future. The Anchorage Economic Summit is a consistently sold-out event, attracting over 1,500 attendees—including industry leaders, C-suite executives, senior management, business owners, independent contractors, and young professionals.
Highlights of the Event:
Jenna Wright, AEDC’s President & CEO, will present the findings of AEDC’s signature annual Business Confidence Index survey, and update the audience on Anchorage’s job market, unemployment trends and consumer confidence.
Michelle Klouda, AEDC’s Board Chair, will provide updates on the organization’s new strategic plan, including progress under the Choose Anchorage initiative.
Mayor of Anchorage Suzanne LaFrance will provide a special address on the city’s priorities and progress.
Keynote Speaker Mary C. Daly, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, is a renowned economist and advocate for inclusive growth. Her keynote, “Building Resilient Economies and Thriving Communities,” will offer insights on employment, inflation, and opportunity.

Seats are limited to 100 participants per session and attendees may register for only one session.
Cost is $25 per session, in addition to a luncheon ticket.
Choose from one of four Anchorage-focused breakout sessions:
- Housing – Anchorage needs more housing. This session will take a look at what’s driving costs, where development is happening (or not), and how creative strategies, smart policy, and local leadership can help close the gap between what we have and what we need.
- Energy – Dive into Southcentral Alaska’s evolving energy landscape, from traditional resources to renewable innovations, and examine how energy choices today will shape economic stability, affordability, and long-term resilience in Anchorage.
- Anchorage’s Role in the Arctic Economy – Explore Anchorage’s role in Arctic strategy as a place where resource development, military readiness, logistics, and research converge to position our city as a key player in international cooperation and a changing northern landscape.
- Choose Anchorage Initiative – Join us for a dynamic, hands-on workshop where you’ll team up with local leaders to identify practical ways to make Anchorage a more attractive place to live, work, and play. This session will showcase community-driven efforts at the heart of AEDC’s Choose Anchorage initiative.

Tickets will go on sale for Investors on May 15th, 2025, and for Non-Investors May 28th, 2025. - Will discount codes be provided to investors?

The networking and exhibitor hall doors open at 10:30 a.m. The presentation will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. - Will the conference be broadcast live or recorded?
